The corners feature a no leak design and combined with the moisture barrier interior coating they allow for the sanitary transport of sick and injured animals. The Cats Desire Disposable Pet Carriers' top attaches to the base at both the top latches and interlocks into the handles on the sides. This novel structure gives the user two different methods to hold the carrier while transporting the animal. The disposable pet carrier is intended to carry a 20 pound animal to the Vet and then used again for the return trip home, and the carrier is intended to be used as a rehoming-transport. THIS CARDBOARD PET CARRIER IS WAY BETTER!

I bought this because of an experience I had last year volunteering at the shelter where they were using the other cardboard carriers to rehome animals. When we put the animals (small dogs, cats and kittens) into the carriers it was too small and when we tried to hold them by the one single handle every time the animal inside shifted or moved it caused the carrier to move around too much. So we ended up just hugging the boxes in and out of the cars. This carrier is way better because it gives you the top handles which held up well and if you think you might need to in case of a heavy dog you can hold the handles on the sides of the carrier. I never used each carrier more than once and could see that a feral cat could tear one up, but it did keep the shelter from loaning out the plastic ones which may/may not come back and gives a really clean one for each pet. We didn't load any sick animals into one while I was there but I could see how the corners and coating would keep potty mistakes in the carrier to help avoid a mess. Overall really like and will buy again.

BEST DISPOSABLE PET CARRIER

We used this carrier to take our 15 pound kitty to the Vet. She seemed to prefer it over the plastic one as she did't do her usual long meows talking to us telling us she doesn't want to be in there. Having both handles on the sides and two on top made it much easier to carry than the old single handle carrier. Several of the Vet techs asked about and commented on the carrier. The size of the inside gave her a ton of room to move around so she did't feel trapped like in the old disposable one. Best part is she she did't soil it so we stored it until it's needed again.
